On Friday, I got ready around 3:45 p.m. for the Monrovia Festival.  Vicki n’ Crew and Open Range Band were playing there from 6:30 p.m. until 11 p.m.  I was going to meet Bruce at his house and ride with him in his car to the festival.  When I got in my car, it wouldn’t start.  My dad jumped it and it started but then I tried to start it again and it wouldn’t start.  We went to Mann’s Grill to get something to eat.  I called my cousin JR to see if he would help me put a battery in.  Then my dad took me to Auto Zone to get a battery.  It was 109 dollars.  My dad and JR put the battery in when we got back.  By then it was 6:30 p.m. so it was too late (I thought) for me to go to the Monrovia festival. 

On Saturday, I got ready and left around 9:30 a.m.  I got to Kimmy and James house around 10:30 a.m.  I helped them pack the truck, my car and Kimmy’s car.  We drove over to their new house and unloaded the cars and trucks.  I got a flat tire.   James and Charlie changed it for me while Kimmy and I were gone at the store getting food.  When we got done unloading the trucks, we went back to their old house to clean it.  I vacuumed the rooms and shampooed the living room rug.  I got home around 10 p.m.

On Saturday, I went over to Bruce's around 10:30 a.m. to clean.  I helped Bruce clean until around 2 p.m.  He told me that they were playing music at the Woodfire Grill in Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. I went home and got ready.  I got there around 6 p.m.  I sat with Grandma Elizabeth and Uncle Gary.  Also Vicki's mom, Randy and Karen were at the table next to us.  There were a few other people there from Martha's Orchard.  We ordered burgers and ate.  I left around 8:30 p.m.  Pictured above Bruce Anderson  https://www.facebook.com/Diamond-Hill-Station-Bluegrass-Band-217831814904320/timeline/ , Tyler Griffith   http://bluegrasstoday.com/tyler-griffith-to-flamekeeper/  Vicki Griffith and Ed Biehle On Sunday, I got the food ready and left around 1:30 p.m.  We had a dinner to celebrate Easter/Johnny and Bruce's birthday.  When I arrived at Bruce's, I unloaded everything and started to warm up the home made macaroni...

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
