Right now I am at the hospital with Kimmy.  Yesterday I went to the doctor’s appointment with her and they hooked her up to the machine to monitor the baby’s heartbeat and contractions.  When they did, the baby’s heartbeat dropped down to 99 while they were monitoring her and the baby.  They told Kimmy to go to the hospital to get checked out.  We left the doctor’s office, dropped the baby off at my dad’s house, went to taco bell and then went to Methodist hospital.  We got here around 12:45 p.m.  she checked in to triage while I parked the car.  I came up and stayed with her.  The doctor decided to keep her overnight and if there were any more dips they were going to do the c-section at 7 p.m.  But if not, they were going to go ahead and do the c-section in the morning at 10 a.m.  They let her eat at around 6 p.m.  Karen and Vicki got here at 7 p.m. with some food from Rally’s for James and I.  We all ate, talked and then played cards.  Then the nurse came in and said there was too many people in the room.  So Vicki and Karen left.  I left around 9:30 p.m. When I got home I went to bed around 1 a.m.  I got up today around 7 a.m.  I got ready and left for the hospital around 8 a.m.  I got here around 8:15 a.m.

Kimmy had her baby today at 11:26 a.m.  He was 5 lbs and 12 ozs and 18 ¾ inches long.  Karen and I got to go back to see him around 12:30 p.m.  Karen left around 1:30 p.m. and I left around 1:45 p.m. for my doctor’s appointment.  I took the people mover to Wishard.  I cancelled my appointment and got my medications refilled.  I went back to the hospital on the people mover.  When I got there, James was back with little James.  Then Bruce came and visited for awhile.  Bruce took little James over to Karen’s house when he left so Kimmy and James could take care of the new baby.  I fed the baby and changed his diaper.  I took pictures and held him for awhile.  I left around 9 p.m.
