Right now we are at the hospital with Kimmy.  This morning she called and woke me up at 8 a.m. and said her water broke.  I went and got Vicki (she was staying over) and told her the news.  She talked to Kimmy on the phone and then she went down to Kimmy’s house.  I got dressed and got me some ice packs (I had just had my wisdom teeth out yesterday) and went out the door.  Kimmy, James, Vicki and I all came out at the same time (we all live on the same street).  We all left.  Karen got to the hospital first because she works by the hospital.  They got Kimmy into a room around 12 noon.  They started inducing her labor around 2 p.m.  We played cards while we waited.  Then Karen took Ed home and she is going to come back.  Right now Kimmy is dilated to 6.  They told her she couldn’t have anything but ice chips but the nurse is being nice and letting her sip on 7-up.  Her contractions are pretty regular and she is setting up in the chair.

On Saturday, I went over to Bruce's around 10:30 a.m. to clean.  I helped Bruce clean until around 2 p.m.  He told me that they were playing music at the Woodfire Grill in Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. I went home and got ready.  I got there around 6 p.m.  I sat with Grandma Elizabeth and Uncle Gary.  Also Vicki's mom, Randy and Karen were at the table next to us.  There were a few other people there from Martha's Orchard.  We ordered burgers and ate.  I left around 8:30 p.m.  Pictured above Bruce Anderson  https://www.facebook.com/Diamond-Hill-Station-Bluegrass-Band-217831814904320/timeline/ , Tyler Griffith   http://bluegrasstoday.com/tyler-griffith-to-flamekeeper/  Vicki Griffith and Ed Biehle On Sunday, I got the food ready and left around 1:30 p.m.  We had a dinner to celebrate Easter/Johnny and Bruce's birthday.  When I arrived at Bruce's, I unloaded everything and started to warm up the home made macaroni...

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
