On Saturday, I got ready and Flip came over and helped me put the stuff for the party in the car.  We left around 11 a.m.  We stopped at Wal-Mart so I could get some stuff for the birthday party.  We arrived at Bruce's house around noon.  I decorated the cakes and Grandma Elizabeth helped.  Then I cleaned up a little bit.  Then everyone started arriving.  Everyone that attended was; Kimmy, James, the baby, Nathanial, my dad, Grandma Elizabeth, Uncle Gary, Flip, Stacy, Jackie, Brittany, Devon, Hailey, Johnny, Shannon, Ed, Karen, Olivia, Carl (his son and girlfriend), Uncle David, Uncle Bob, Uncle Donnie, Vicki, Randy and Ashley.  We cooked out on the grill.  We ate outside and they played music outside.  For awhile it looked like it was going to rain so we took everything inside.  We sang Happy Birthday to Bruce, Johnny and Uncle Gary.  Then we played music for awhile longer (I joined in on my guitar a few times).  I left at approx. 11 p.m.

On Saturday, I went over to Bruce's around 10:30 a.m. to clean.  I helped Bruce clean until around 2 p.m.  He told me that they were playing music at the Woodfire Grill in Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. I went home and got ready.  I got there around 6 p.m.  I sat with Grandma Elizabeth and Uncle Gary.  Also Vicki's mom, Randy and Karen were at the table next to us.  There were a few other people there from Martha's Orchard.  We ordered burgers and ate.  I left around 8:30 p.m.  Pictured above Bruce Anderson  https://www.facebook.com/Diamond-Hill-Station-Bluegrass-Band-217831814904320/timeline/ , Tyler Griffith   http://bluegrasstoday.com/tyler-griffith-to-flamekeeper/  Vicki Griffith and Ed Biehle On Sunday, I got the food ready and left around 1:30 p.m.  We had a dinner to celebrate Easter/Johnny and Bruce's birthday.  When I arrived at Bruce's, I unloaded everything and started to warm up the home made macaroni...

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
