On Thursday while I was at work, my sister called me and told me that my Uncle Martin was in serious condition.  My Uncle Smokey found him on his living room floor where he collapsed and had a stroke.  His brain bled and now he has a tube draining out the blood.  He is on a ventilator to help him breathe.  They said if he pulls through he will have brain damage.

On Friday, I called in sick.  I went up to the hospital to visit Uncle Martin.  Then my dad, Uncle Smokey, Aunt Franny, Aunt Mary, Caroline, Kimmy, James and the baby went out to eat at MCL Cafeteria.  We (Kimmy, James and the baby) went home after we ate and they went back to the hospital.  Kimmy, James, the baby and I went over to Bruce's house around 5:30 p.m.  I helped Bruce clean a little bit.  Then Karen and Ed arrived.  Karen ordered a pizza.  Then Vicki, Randy, Vicki's mom, Tyler and Ashley arrived.  Then two other pickers arrived.  Kimmy and Karen went and picked up the pizza while I watched the baby.  When they got back, we ate.  Then we played music.  Johnny showed up around 10:30 p.m.  I only took a few photos because I was playing music.

On Saturday, I went over to Bruce's around 10:30 a.m. to clean.  I helped Bruce clean until around 2 p.m.  He told me that they were playing music at the Woodfire Grill in Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. I went home and got ready.  I got there around 6 p.m.  I sat with Grandma Elizabeth and Uncle Gary.  Also Vicki's mom, Randy and Karen were at the table next to us.  There were a few other people there from Martha's Orchard.  We ordered burgers and ate.  I left around 8:30 p.m.  Pictured above Bruce Anderson  https://www.facebook.com/Diamond-Hill-Station-Bluegrass-Band-217831814904320/timeline/ , Tyler Griffith   http://bluegrasstoday.com/tyler-griffith-to-flamekeeper/  Vicki Griffith and Ed Biehle On Sunday, I got the food ready and left around 1:30 p.m.  We had a dinner to celebrate Easter/Johnny and Bruce's birthday.  When I arrived at Bruce's, I unloaded everything and started to warm up the home made macaroni...

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
