Kimmy decided to get an epidural around 12:40 a.m. because she wasn’t dilating past 8 and the baby’s head was getting pushed down.  She got the epidural at 1:30 a.m.  They came and checked her at 3:30 and she was still dilated at 8 so they decided to do a c-section.  They were going to numb her from the waist down by another epidural but she didn’t want another needle in her back.  So they decided to put her to sleep.  James could not go back with her.  One of the nurses took my camcorder and recorded the birth of the baby.  He was born at 4:53 a.m. and he weighed  9 pounds 8 ounces and he was 21 ½ inches long.  I took pictures when he came back to the room after 5 a.m.  Vicki, Karen, James and I were there.  I left around 7:30 a.m. I took a shower and went to bed.  I woke up at 5:30 p.m.  I went to the hospital and visited from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.  Johnny also visited.  My dad visited earlier.  Bruce came around 6 p.m.  Sheila also visited.  Vicki, Tyler, Ashley and Karen (Vicki’s Mom) came around 7:15 p.m.  Kimmy ate here dinner and I went down to get me something to eat.  Vicki, Tyler, Ashley and Karen left around 9 p.m.  Dean and his girlfriend came and visited around 9:15 p.m.  I left around 10 p.m.  I got up this morning around 12 noon.  I went to the dollar store and got the baby a balloon and then went to the hospital to visit.

On Saturday, I went over to Bruce's around 10:30 a.m. to clean.  I helped Bruce clean until around 2 p.m.  He told me that they were playing music at the Woodfire Grill in Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. I went home and got ready.  I got there around 6 p.m.  I sat with Grandma Elizabeth and Uncle Gary.  Also Vicki's mom, Randy and Karen were at the table next to us.  There were a few other people there from Martha's Orchard.  We ordered burgers and ate.  I left around 8:30 p.m.  Pictured above Bruce Anderson  https://www.facebook.com/Diamond-Hill-Station-Bluegrass-Band-217831814904320/timeline/ , Tyler Griffith   http://bluegrasstoday.com/tyler-griffith-to-flamekeeper/  Vicki Griffith and Ed Biehle On Sunday, I got the food ready and left around 1:30 p.m.  We had a dinner to celebrate Easter/Johnny and Bruce's birthday.  When I arrived at Bruce's, I unloaded everything and started to warm up the home made macaroni...

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
