On Tuesday, July 4, I went to the family reunion. Stacy and her kids met us here at the house at 10:30 a.m. Kimmy left with Stacy's kids in her car. James left on his bike and Stacy and I rode together in my car. We all followed each other all the way there. We got there around 12:30 p.m. My mom, Bruce, Sheila and Nathanial rode together. Johnny and J.R. rode together. There was a lot of people there and a lot of food. Vicki and her family were there to play music. Also Gary Thompson was there too. My mom made me get up and sing two songs with her "Farther Along" and "Walkin' After Midnight". Aunt Susie and Aunt Juanita did two skits. Then Aunt Judy, Aunt Dede, Aunt Kathleen, Aunt Sandy, and Shirley did a skit. I took a lot of pictures. I also video taped some. We stayed until after 5 p.m.
On Friday, I worked from 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. then I went to pick up my mom. Then I went home and took a shower. We left about 4:15 p.m. We went to Aunt Pauline's house for girls night out. We got there around 5 p.m. Aunt Pauline was making a big meal for us. There was a meat and cheese tray, baked beans, a pickle tray, a cheese ball, chips and dip, seafood salad, potato salad, crossants, desserts, cheese dip and a lot of other things. We ate around seven p.m. Then we played Yahtzee and euchre. We danced while we played games. We did our skits when we sere done playing games. Aunt Pauline had prizes for the winners. Everyone got prizes. There was 3 groups for the skits. In one group was; Aunt Pauline, Aunt Sandy and my mom. They did "Crazy" and another song. Then it was Aunt Juanita and Aunt Susie. They did "Do your ears hang low?". Then there was Aunt Judy, Aunt Dede and me. We did "Sugar Sugar" and a scene from the "I Love Lucy Show" stomping grapes. We wore skirts, scarfs, painted our lips dark, painted freckles on our face and our teeth black. After we did the skits, we sang a few karaoke songs. Then we watched the family reunion on video. Then we watched what I just recorded from girls night out. I left around 2:30 a.m.
