This past Friday I went with my mom, Bruce and Uncle David to play music at Martha's Orchard.  Grandma Elizabeth and some of her friends were there.  Sister Surface and Brother Surface were there.  Ed and some of the people my mom and Bruce usually play music with were there.   They didn't play music until almost 9 p.m.  When all of the band members got onstage, they each wanted to do their own song (they all signed up for a song to do).  But the guy doing the bluegrass program there wouldn't let them play anymore songs.  I video taped them playing.  Ed and some guy ( I don't know his name) came over to my mom and Bruce's to play music.  I got home around 2 a.m. 

On Saturday, we (Kimmy and I) went to my mom's house around 5 p.m.  We met Stacy and her three kids, Aunt Susie, Shane, Hailey, Uncle David and Sheryl.  We all got into Stacy's van and Sheryl's car.  We left around 6:15 p.m.  We got to Pittsboro around 6:40 p.m.  It was Stacy and me in the front seats.  Aunt Susie, Kimmy, Shane, Hailey, Brittany and Devan in the backseats of the van.  Then Sheryl drove Uncle David, my mom and Subrena.  When we got there, there was a big buffet of food. There was a big fire and a bunch of places to sit around it.  There were hot dogs and marshmallows to cook on the fire.  There was a hayride.  There was also karoke.  We stayed until at least 9 p.m.  When we got back to my mom and Bruce's, Aunt Susie left.  Then Stacy left.  Kimmy and I left an hour later. 


Sunday was General Conference.  Kimmy and I went to Stacy's to visit.  We visited from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

On Saturday, I went over to Bruce's around 10:30 a.m. to clean.  I helped Bruce clean until around 2 p.m.  He told me that they were playing music at the Woodfire Grill in Plainfield at 6:30 p.m. I went home and got ready.  I got there around 6 p.m.  I sat with Grandma Elizabeth and Uncle Gary.  Also Vicki's mom, Randy and Karen were at the table next to us.  There were a few other people there from Martha's Orchard.  We ordered burgers and ate.  I left around 8:30 p.m.  Pictured above Bruce Anderson  https://www.facebook.com/Diamond-Hill-Station-Bluegrass-Band-217831814904320/timeline/ , Tyler Griffith   http://bluegrasstoday.com/tyler-griffith-to-flamekeeper/  Vicki Griffith and Ed Biehle On Sunday, I got the food ready and left around 1:30 p.m.  We had a dinner to celebrate Easter/Johnny and Bruce's birthday.  When I arrived at Bruce's, I unloaded everything and started to warm up the home made macaroni...

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
