On Monday, I had a doctor's appointment at 10:30 a.m.  Then I went to find my classes on campus.  Then I went to Wal-Mart to get my layaway out.  Then J.R. came over and looked at my car and said I needed a new distributor cap and that he would put it on for me.  I also need my oil changed and spark plugs.  Josh stopped by and we all ate dinner that Kimmy cooked.  I did the dishes and then I took J.R. home around 10 p.m.  On Tuesday, I worked from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.  On Wednesday, I got up around 8 a.m. and I got ready and went to my classes at IUPUI.  While I was in class, my mom called me.  When I got out of class, I tried to call her back but her phone was busy so I called my dad and he told me the news that my mom has Sarcoma which is a type of lung cancer.  I was going to go to Institute but instead I went straight home and changed.  Kimmy and I went to my mom's house.  We stayed until 9:30 p.m.  When I got home I rearranged my room.  I went to bed around midnight.



 I woke up this morning around 9:30 a.m.  I got ready and left around 10 a.m.  I got to my mom's doctor's office around 10:40 a.m.  I waited for my mom, Bruce and Aunt Susie to get there.  They were about 10 minutes late to her 11 a.m. appointment.  When the doctor called her back there we all went back with her.  I asked some questions first that Kimmy and I had come up with.  Then Bruce and Aunt Susie asked some questions.  We found out she has to have chemotherapy and she starts next Thursday.  Her treatments last for 1 to 2 hours.  She can be around animals as long as her blood count  is fine.  She will be evaluated in a couple of weeks to see if the cancer is in regression.  Her cancer is in stage 4 and she has about a 7% survival rate.  I am upset, sad and I don't know how else to feel right now.  I wish I coul dbe with her all the time because I am afraid I am going to lose her.  I want to spend every moment with her.  I hope she doesn't have to suffer.

Vicki and Randy brought us Taco Bell up to the hospital around 5 p.m.  They had to leave before 6 p.m. because they had to be downtown for a dinner.  Some of James family and friends came by for a visit around 7:45 p.m.  I left around 8:15 p.m.  Kimmy and the baby are supposed to go home tomorrow.  Then they are going over to Karen and Ed's house for a dinner.

Right now we are on the way to go see Uncle Martin.  He is in the nursing home on 10th street.  I went to my mom's grave about an hour ago. Yesterday, I went over to Bruce's about 2 p.m. he gave me a guitar lesson.  Then I helped him clean the house.  Vicki, Tyler and Vicki's mom came over.  Also a mandolin player too.  Bruce made chili for everyone.  We played music until around 10:30 p.m. On Friday, I went over to Bruce's and Ed, Karen, Vicki, Tyler, Vicki's mom, and two other pickers were there.  Kimmy, James and the baby arrived after I did.  Then Bruce arrived last.  He was in Minnesota and his brother picked him up from the airport.  I helped him carry his stuff in. Then everyone else arrived.  We played music until around 1 a.m. On Wednesday, Kimmy and I went out to Bruce's while he was gone in Minnesota and cleaned his house.  Grandma Elizabeth was also over and helped clean too.  We left around 6 p.m. ...
